My Services
Equine Dentistry Services
A routine dental check is not just rasping sharp points, it should always incorporate a thorough external and internal examination using a bright light source, mirrors, and picks. A comprehensive treatment plan will be made addressing any areas of concern to ensure your horse has maximum comfort and mastication efficiency. Finally, a detailed aftercare plan will be sent in which you will receive a digital chart with findings and treatments carried out, a recommended timeframe for their next dental examination and an electronic reminder for your appointment.
Here at EP Equine Dentistry, we predominantly use motorised equipment for the reduction of sharp points and overgrowths. In skilled hands motorised equipment is far superior to hand rasping alone and much kinder on the soft tissues of the mouth.
